Join the staff at Caleb Smith State Park Preserve for an Intro to Fishing Clinic at scenic Willow Pond on Aug. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. for a children’s introduction to catch and release fishing. Discover the different types of fishing poles, tackle, and bait, and which is best to use in a fresh water pond. Bicycle Rodeo

Town of Brookhaven will host a Bicycle Rodeo at Safety Town, 249 Buckley Road, Holtsville  on Aug. 6 from 8 a.m. to noon. This event encourages children to learn how to safely ride their bikes in a mock-roadway, kid-sized setting. A Morning of Chamber Music
