Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate three people who assaulted an employee at a Commack store.

An employee of Walmart, located at 85 Crooked Hill Road, confronted three people, two women and a man, regarding their handling of merchandise on March 27 at approximately 6:20 p.m. During the encounter, the three people attacked the employee, punching him multiple times. The victim was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of minor injuries.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people who allegedly stole merchandise from a Lake Grove store.

A man and woman allegedly stole a Stanley cup and two Yeti backpacks from DICK’s Sporting Goods, located in the Smith Haven Mall, on March 29 at approximately 6:20 p.m. The stolen merchandise has a combined value of approximately $720.

A woman allegedly stole rodent repellent from Lowe’s, located at 100 Express Drive North, on  March 5 at approximately 8:45 a.m. She fled in a red Kia.

Suffolk County Police arrested a Coram woman on April 2 for allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs following a motor vehicle crash with her nephew and niece in the vehicle.

Leigh Dellolio was driving a 2006 Nissan eastbound on Pine Road, near Corpine Lane, when the vehicle struck a fire hydrant at 10:56 a.m. Police determined Dellolio was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash. No one was injured, and the children, a 6-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl, were released to a family member.

Dellolio, 47, was charged with alleged Aggravated Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs with a Child Passenger 15 Years Old or Younger (Leandra’s Law), and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The Nissan was impounded. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.

Suffolk County Police arrested two people on April 1 for allegedly selling vape and tobacco products to minors in Port Jefferson Station and Coram.

In response to community complaints, Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation
into the sale of vape and tobacco products at local businesses during which two were found to be in
violation of the law.

The following people were charged with alleged Unlawfully Dealing with a Child:

• Manjit Gidha, 57, of Farmingville, an employee of Coram Smoke Shop, located at 337 Middle Country
Road, Coram

• Muhammed Kilic, 28, of Brooklyn, an employee of Elite Tobacco Shop, located at 1030 Route 112, Port
Jefferson Station.

Both men were issued Field Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in
Central Islip on a later date.

A woman allegedly stole groceries from Target, located at 2975 Horseblock Road, on March 20 at approximately 7:25 p.m.

Suffolk County Police arrested two Flushing women during a raid at a Huntington massage parlor March 28.

In response to community complaints, Second Precinct Crime Section officers along with the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and the Town of Huntington’s Code Enforcement conducted an investigation at Ruyi Healing Inc., located at 201 E. Main Street at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Two women were arrested. The manager, Yuexian Pan, 45, was charged with alleged Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a felony, Prostitution, a misdemeanor, and Criminal Nuisance 2nd Degree, a misdemeanor. An employee, Xin Ai Zhang, 45, was charged with alleged Unauthorized Practice of a Profession and Prostitution. Multiple violations were issued by Town of Huntington officials. The women will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

A man allegedly stole grocery items from Target, located at 265 Pond Path, at approximately 5:40 p.m. on March 13. The man had several tattoos on his hands.

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a man in Medford on March 28.

Pawel Andrzejczyk, was driving a 2015 Mercedes-Benz eastbound on Express Drive South, near Victorian Lane, when he disregarded a flagger working with the construction crew at 1:42 a.m. Andrzejczyk drove into a closed off section of the road and struck a construction vehicle.

Andrzejczyk, 44, of Medford, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.

Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating after a Shoreham man was killed in a motor vehicle crash in East Moriches on March 27.

Donald Kwarta was operating a 2018 GMC Yukon westbound on Sunrise Highway when the vehicle veered into the center median and crossed into the eastbound lanes of the roadway east of exit 61 at 1:32 p.m. The GMC traveled westbound in the eastbound lanes for approximately an eighth of a mile before striking a 2023 Mack truck that was parked on the eastbound shoulder at exit 61.

Kwarta, 66, was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Mack truck, Keith Schwamb, 58, was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead for treatment of minor injuries.

The Mack truck was inspected at the scene by the Motor Carrier Safety Section. The GMC was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to contact Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752.
