Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify three women who allegedly stole merchandise from a Lake Grove business in February.

Three women entered Victoria’s Secret, located at the Smith Haven Mall, and allegedly stole merchandise with a value of more than $1,000 on February 8 at approximately 6:00 p.m.

A man and a woman allegedly stole merchandise from Target, located at 307 Independence Plaza, on February 24 at approximately 2 p.m. The merchandise was valued at approximately $920. They fled in a dark-colored SUV.

Update: Andrea Alejandra Espana, 14, of Calverton, who was reported missing on March 27,  returned home on March 29 and was unharmed.

Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate a Calverton teen
who was reported missing on March 27.

Andrea Alejandra Espana was last seen leaving her residence on Hill Rise on March 27 at approximately 6 p.m. She was reported missing by family at 11:22 p.m.

Espana, 14, is a white, Hispanic female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and 127 pounds. She has long
black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing green pajama pants, a black hooded sweatshirt,
and white Crocs shoes.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Espana’s location to contact the Seventh Squad at
631-852-8752 or call 911.

A man entered the Miller Place Smoke Shop, located at 345 Route 25A, displayed what appeared to be a gun and stole money on February 6.

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a woman who was
found in her car in the water in Stony Brook on March 26.

Sixth Precinct police officers responded to Stony Brook Boat Ramp, located on Shore Road, after a 911
caller reported a vehicle in the water at approximately 6:45 a.m. Officers located Harriet Farish inside a
2020 Kia Telluride in the water. Farish, 76, of Stony Brook, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-
6392.

Suffolk County Police have arrested a Farmingdale teen who allegedly damaged an Oakdale building as part of a social media challenge.

A Fifth Precinct police officer was patrolling the former Dowling College property, located at 150 Idle
Hour Blvd., on March 21 when he observed three males walking on the property at approximately 6 p.m. It was determined that one of the teens broke a window with a rock.

The male, 18, claimed he caused the damage as part of a social media challenge targeting historic buildings.
Fifth Squad detectives and Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers are investigating previous incidents of
criminal mischief at the location. Police have been conducting patrol checks of the property following
community complaints.

The teen was charged with Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and issued a Field Appearance Ticket. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on April 10. Anyone with information on this or similar incidents is asked to call the Fifth Precinct Crime Section at 631-854-8532 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
