MEET SIMBA!

Say hello to Simba! Open your heart to this sweet 3-year-old couch potato and you will have a friend for life. Currently waiting for adoption at Kent Animal Shelter, this adorable guy loves human companionship and is a huge lap cat. Some of his favorite things are scratch pads, watching birds and squirrels out the window and sitting on your lap while you watch TV or read. He is a little shy at first but very quick to warm up. Simba comes neutered, microchipped and is up to date on all his vaccines.

MEET LUNA!

Luna

Look at that smile! Luna is a 7-year-old terrier with a huge heart. She had a loving family until her owners lost their home and she ended up at Kent Animal Shelter. She is a little shy with new people but warms up quickly. Luna has the sweetest personality and loves giving kisses, long walks and belly rubs. This 3-year-old black and tan beauty is Jackie-O — a hound mix who has traveled all the way from Kentucky to Kent Animal Shelter in the hopes of finding a place to call home. This week’s shelter pet is Snowy, a 7-year-old, white domestic long-haired cat waiting for a new home at Kent Animal Shelter. His owners were allergic and couldn’t keep him anymore. B.G., aka Baby Girl, is a great cat who had a home until her owner passed away. Now she’s waiting at Kent Animal Shelter for her furever home. MEET LOGAN! Logan is a very handsome 2-year-old, domestic long-haired cat who was recently turned in to Kent Animal Shelter. His owners were moving and couldn’t take him with them.

MEET SASHA!

Sasha

Eagerly waiting for you at Kent Animal Shelter is Sasha, a 3½-year-old shepherd/husky mix who is full of life and energy. On her short wish list is a great big fenced-in yard to play in and to have all of your attention, so she would prefer to be the only pet in the home. This sweet girl walks nicely on a leash and would do best in an active, adult home where she can get lots of exercise and lots of love. Sasha comes spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines.

MEET AMBER!

This week’s shelter pet is Amber, a 4-year-old Shepherd mix who came to Kent Animal Shelter from Texas with two of her pups. Her pups have since found their forever homes — now it’s Amber’s turn!  Amber is a super sweet girl and loves all the attention she can get. She’s great with kids and loves belly rubs too! Amber also loves to eat, so pick up a bag of treats and come on down to visit her. She comes spayed, microchipped and is up to date on all her vaccines.

MEET RAPUNZEL!

Just look at those beautiful brown eyes! This is Rapunzel, an adorable 2½-month-old Catahoula/hound mix from South Carolina, now waiting for a furever home at Kent Animal Shelter. How is it that this gorgeous gal couldn’t find herself a home down south? No worries, Rapunzel — New Yorkers are going to be fighting over you! Rapunzel has already spent some time with cats and would do well sharing a home with them. She is also spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines. Will you be her Valentine?
