A man allegedly stole a package containing an iPhone from the porch of a Vento Lane home on October 19 at approximately noon. The man fled in a black SUV.

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a three-vehicle crash that left a man critically injured in Mount Sinai on Nov. 14.

Ronald Indelicato was stopped in traffic in a 2022 Nissan Maxima southbound on County Road 83, near Canal Road, when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2022 Chevrolet Cruz being driven by Jonathan Esposito at approximately 3:40 p.m. Indelicato’s vehicle then struck a 2018 Honda Pilot driven by Paul Abbruzzese, that was stopped in front of the Nissan.

Indelicato, 77, of Coram, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition. Esposito, 37, of Ridge, was uninjured. Abbruzzese, 68, of Mount Sinai, and an adult passenger in the Honda were uninjured.

All three vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crash to call Sixth Squad Detectives at 631-854-8652.

Suffolk County Police arrested an Islandia man on Nov. 11 for allegedly burglarizing four businesses a total of 14 times during the past 11 months.

Following an investigation by Fifth Squad detectives, Christopher Lacker was identified as the man who allegedly committed multiple burglaries at storage facilities within the confines of the Fourth and Fifth Precinct between December 7, 2022 and November 9, 2023. During each burglary, Lacker allegedly entered storage facilities, cut locks from individual storage units, and stole property from within. Lacker, who was located by detectives at his home on November 11 at 4:33 p.m., burglarized the following locations:

• Public Storage, located at 770 Nesconset Highway in Nesconset, on December 7, 2022.
• Extra Space Storage, located at 3016 Express Drive in Islandia, on February 24 and 28,
September 29, October 3, 4, 13 and 14, November 8 and 9, 2023.
• Extra Space Storage, located at 1590 Lakeland Ave. in Bohemia, on September 27, 2023
• Public Storage, located at 745 Calebs Path, Hauppauge, on October 16, 2023.

Lacker, 42, was charged with 14 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Huntington Station on Nov. 7.

A 26-year-old man was riding a 2017 Honda motorcycle northbound on New York Avenue when he lost control and struck a utility pole near East 12th Street at 9:24 p.m. The man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious physical injuries. The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check.

A man allegedly purchased a $100 PayPal gift card from Speedway, located at 2104 Jericho Turnpike, on September 17 at approximately 4:45 a.m. The man then claimed the gift card was not loaded and took the $100 back. He then fled in a older model Jeep Grand Cherokee with green lights in the front and black rims.
