Rob Negri

New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) has announced the appointment of Rob Negri as Chief of Pharmacy. In his new role, Negri will continue to lead the pharmacy operations across NYCBS dispensing sites throughout Long Island, New York City, and Hudson Valley, overseeing the team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and oncology nursing staff.

TinaMarie Gianelli

New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) has announced the appointment of TinaMarie Gianelli as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, Gianelli will continue to spearhead the organization’s strategic human resources initiatives and operations, ensuring the continued growth and development of NYCBS’s talented team.

“TinaMarie embodies a combination of a passion for people and a results-driven mindset – two critical attributes to the success of a Chief Human Resources Officer,” said Dr. Jeff Vacirca, CEO of NYCBS. “We are excited to have her lead our human resources efforts and continue strengthening our team.”

Neil Foley

New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) has announced the appointment of Neil Foley as Chief of Government Affairs and Sales. In his new role, Foley will lead the company’s efforts to advocate on critical issues with key policymakers and continue overseeing the sales team of physician liaisons, working to grow provider referrals and enhancing access to quality cancer care.

“Neil Foley continues to be an invaluable leader in our government affairs and sales efforts,” said Dr. Jeff Vacirca, CEO of NYCBS. “His understanding of healthcare policy, extensive experience in navigating government relations across multiple municipalities, and ongoing dedication to improving access to cancer care make him a tremendous asset to our organization.”

Foley has been a Brookhaven Town Councilman since 2014, bringing his leadership expertise to New York Cancer & Blood Specialists in 2019. He initially began as an American history teacher before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, where he spent over a decade in key roles at major companies like Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, and Sunovion Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Jahan Aghalar

Dr. Jennifer Ripton-Snyder

New York Imaging Specialists has announced the addition of Dr. Jennifer Ripton-Snyder, a fellowship-trained breast imager. Dr. Ripton-Snyder will practice at 118 North Country Road in Port Jefferson.

“Dr. Ripton-Snyder’s expertise in Breast Imaging and her dedication to patient well-being aligns perfectly with our mission to prioritize women’s health and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process,” said Dr. Jeff Vacirca, CEO.

Driven by her passion for patient care, Dr. Ripton-Snyder was inspired to specialize in Breast Imaging. “I was inspired to enter the field of Breast Imaging because of the patient care aspects and the fact that I could practice a specialty that was also so integral to primary care for women.” As a fellowship-trained breast imager, she holds a particular interest in post-operative imaging for women with a previous cancer diagnosis, as well as screening in women with above-average cancer risk.

Dr. Matthew Comito

New York Imaging Specialists has announced that board-certified radiologist Matthew Comito, MD, has been appointed Chief Radiology Officer.  “Dr. Comito has the administrative, scientific, clinical, leadership, and visionary skills needed to move the  Department of Radiology forward,” said Jeff Vacirca, MD, CEO. 

NY Imaging Specialists offers advanced medical imaging services, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, ultrasound, mammography, interventional radiology, and more. Under his leadership, Dr. Comito will oversee all aspects of radiologic services, including diagnostic imaging, medical imaging, and nuclear medicine, while maintaining the center’s high-quality standards and optimizing workflows and efficiency.
