MEET PECONIC!

This week’s shelter pet is a lovely cat named Peconic. This beautiful girl is a 5-year-old calico who was found as a stray and is now patiently waiting at Kent Animal Shelter for her furever home.

Peconic has a very sweet disposition and would love nothing more than to curl up on your lap. She’s good with other cats and would probably be fine with a dog too. Come on down and meet her! Peconic comes spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Vivaldi

MEET VIVALDI!

Look into my eyes …You are getting veerrrry sleepy. Your eyelids are feeling heavy and you are now asleep. When you awaken you will get into your car and drive to Kent Animal Shelter. You will visit the kitty cottage and meet a wonderful loving 8-month-old kitten by the name of Vivaldi. You will adopt me (Vivaldi). You will then bring me home to live with you where you will serve me by giving me plenty of food, lots of petting and enough loving until I can’t take anymore! When I meow you will awaken and embark on your journey … MEOW!! See you soon!

Prissy

Patiently waiting at Kent Animal Shelter for a new home, this 2-year-old sweetheart has one blue eye and one brown eye. Prissy has had a rough start to life but is ready to put all that behind her and put her best paw forward. Rescued from a high kill shelter down south, she’s very sweet and is just looking for someone to love. Could that be you?

MEET KALI!

This little cutie is Kali, a pointer/heeler mix pup rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas and now safe at Kent Animal Shelter. At 6 months old, he is in search of a nice family and home where he can grow up and spend the rest of his days. Violet is a 5-year-old Shepherd mix rescued off the streets in Thailand, where she was sure to become part of the meat trade there. She is now safe at Kent Animal Shelter. MEET IGGY!

This is Iggy, a two-year-old hound mix rescued from horrific conditions but now safe and sound at Kent Animal Shelter. Found tied to a dog house at an abandoned home, he was severely malnourished and brought to a crowded shelter. He arrived at Kent Animal Shelter on Nov. 16 and his tail has been wagging every since. Iggy is always happy to see people, has much love to give and wants nothing more than to be with a new family for the holidays. He comes neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

MEET JETER!

This week’s shelter pet is Jeter, an almost 12-year-old Puggle, originally adopted from Kent Animal Shelter 6 years ago.  He was returned because his owner was moving and couldn’t take him along. Now he is looking to spend his golden years with a new family.  

Jeter’s a happy guy, despite it all, and would love to have a second chance.  He is also still very spry and loves people. He’s great with other dogs too!  Won’t you open your heart to this lovable boy?
