Drop-In Art Workshops
Children ages five through ten are invited to the Heckscher Museum, 2 Prime Ave., Huntington to create fun works of art in a variety of materials inspired by artwork in the Museum’s exhibitions on July 18, July 25, Aug. 1 and Aug. 8 from 10 to 11 a.m. Each week’s project will be exciting and different! Programs will be held both in the Museum and in Heckscher Park, weather-permitting. $10 per child includes all art supplies and admission to the museum. Submarine Adventure
Join the Whaling Museum, 301 Main St., Cold Spring Harbor for a Submarine Adventure on July 18 at 1 p.m. and again at 3 p.m. Go on the greatest adventure of all — to the bottom of the sea! Discover the other worldly organisms that dwell in the depths of the ocean and learn about these crazy creatures in an exciting black light activity.
