Jet

MEET JET!

This week’s shelter pet is a beautiful 9-month-old terrier mix named Jet. Surrendered to a high kill shelter in Texas due to his owner’s personal problems, he is now safe at Kent Animal Shelter.

Jet is a lovely dog and would do well in any home situation. He weighs 25 pounds and comes neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Black dogs very often get overlooked in shelters.  Won’t you come and meet this little guy and give him a chance? You may just fall in love!

Mickey

MEET MICKEY!

This week’s shelter pet is Mickey, a 6-year- old Hound mix rescued from the Bahamas and currently settling in at Kent Animal Shelter.

Weighing in at a healthy 50 pounds, this handsome boy loves to go for long walks. Mickey has the sweetest disposition, and would do great in a family with kids.  He comes microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.

MEET ROBIN AND RAVEN

This week’s shelter pets are kittens Robin and Raven, 8-month-old female domestic short-haired siblings waiting at Kent Animal Shelter for the next chapter in their lives. 

Robin is black and white and Raven is black. They are sweet, docile and playful kittens who would love to be adopted together if possible.

Both kittens are spayed, microchipped and up to date on their vaccines.

MEET MR. T!

This week’s featured shelter pet is a wonderful kitty named Mr. T, a 2-year-old orange tabby domestic short-haired cat who loves people! He will follow you around the house and is just the friendliest little guy. Mr. T can be a bit of a bully with other cats though, so it’s best that he be the only cat in the home.

Mr. T comes neutered, microchipped and is up to date on all his vaccines.

MEET CUTTER!

This week’s featured shelter pet is Cutter, an 8-month-old Black Mouth Cur mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. 

Cutter is extremely sweet and loves children. He is also a good size, weighing in at just 30 pounds and is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. All this pup needs now is a family of his very own. Come on down and meet him!

MEET PATTI!

This week’s featured shelter pet is Patti, a 1 1/2 year old domestic short haired cat with soft black hair and stunning yellow eyes. Patti has a quiet disposition but loves to play with toys and is also great with children. She comes spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines. All this sweetheart needs now is a loving home.

MEET ELEANOR!

This week’s shelter pet is Eleanor, a 3-year-old domestic short-haired pastel calico with beautiful green eyes. If she looks a little scared, it is because she doesn’t understand what has happened to her. Unfortunately, her human has passed on and no other person she knows was able to care for her. Now she’s safe at Kent Animal Shelter waiting for a new family (she likes other cats) and a fresh start.

MEET OPHELIA!

This is Ophelia, a 3-year-old short-haired mix who came to Kent Animal Shelter all the way from Thailand, where she was rescued from the meat trade. This sweet girl is so full of personality and love and looks forward to going for long walks. She is ready to begin the next chapter in her life!

Lavendar

MEET LAVENDER!

This week’s shelter pet is Lavender, a 1½-year-old tabby cat patiently waiting at Kent Animal Shelter for a new adventure. She was brought to the shelter just as she was giving birth to 7 kittens. She went into a foster home with her babies so she could care for them until they were weaned.

Now it’s Lavender’s turn to be pampered! She loves to play, comes when called, sits on your lap, uses a scratching post and loves to be around children! She comes spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines.

MEET TRUFFLES!

This week’s shelter pet is Truffles, a 1-year-old terrier mix rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Carolina and now safe at Kent Animal Shelter.  A beautiful brindle/tricolored girl who loves to play, Truffles just seems to get overlooked  by potential adopters.

Come and take Truffles for a walk (she walks nicely on a leash), and perhaps you’ll decide to give her a chance at a new life!  She would make a wonderful addition to any family lucky enough to have her!
