Suffolk County Police arrested a man on Nov. 22 for driving with 26 license suspensions in Farmingville.

A Highway Patrol officer observed Eric Law driving at a high rate of speed in a 2002 Ford F-250
westbound on the Long Island Expressway at 6:20 p.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop near Exit 63.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that Law had 26 license suspensions over eight dates.
Law, 43, of Oakdale, was issued multiple summonses and the Ford was impounded. He is scheduled for
arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.

Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman for driving with more than 30 license suspensions in Yaphank.

Lisa Larkin was driving a 2003 Acura westbound on the Long Island Expressway, west of exit 67, when officers initiated a traffic stop for following a vehicle too closely. An investigation revealed Larkin has 33 license suspensions on five separate occasions for failure to answer summonses.

Her vehicle was impounded and she was issued summonses for unregistered and an uninsured vehicle.

Larkin, 58, of Sound Beach, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree under Angelica’s Law. She was released on a Desk Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

Suffolk County Police arrested a Huntington Station man on Nov. 3 for speeding and for operating a vehicle with 55 license suspensions in Central Islip. 

Third Precinct Community Support Unit officers were conducting vehicle and traffic enforcement in a high crash location at Islip Avenue, near Spur Drive North, and pulled over a speeding 2018 BMW 340 that was being driven by Jose Alvarado at 9:05 p.m. A check of Alvarado’s license revealed 55 prior suspensions on multiple dates. 

Alvarado, 21, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, a felony. The BMW was impounded for evidence in relation to the charge. He was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on November 11.

Suffolk County police arrested a woman for driving with a suspended and revoked driver’s license after stopping her for traffic violations in Huntington June 6.

Dawn Taddeo was operating a 1996 Buick Regal on Pulaski Road without a registration sticker displayed on her windshield. A 2nd Precinct patrol officer initiated a traffic stop. A check on Taddeo’s driver’s license showed it had been suspended 89 times. It was also determined that Taddeo’s vehicle was unregistered and was being operated with improper or “switched” license plates.

Taddeo, 49, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Taddeo was also issued several summonses for vehicle and traffic law violations.  The vehicle was impounded.

Taddeo is being held overnight at the4th Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned June 7 at First District Court in Central Islip. Additional details on her arraignment was not available
