Suffolk County Police arrested a man for allegedly forcibly touching a girl in Huntington Station on Oct. 16.

A 16-year-old female walked into the BP gas station, located at 233 Walt Whitman Road on October 14 at approximately 10 p.m. when she engaged in conversation with a gas station attendant. The employee allegedly forcibly touched the female two separate times. The victim left the gas station and reported the incident to the Suffolk County Police Department on October 15. Following an investigation, Second Squad detectives arrested Harjindar Singh on Oct. 16.

Singh, 61, of Greenlawn, was charged with two counts of Forcible Touching and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Singh will be held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 17.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this case or who maybe a victim of Singh, to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.

Arnold Stecker

Suffolk County Police arrested a driving instructor on Sept. 14 for allegedly inappropriately touching one of his students in East Northport earlier this month.

During a driving lesson, the instructor, Arnold Stecker, an employee of Fitzgerald Driving School,  allegedly inappropriately touched a 20-year-old female student while they were stopped on Kenilworth Drive on September 10 at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Following an investigation by the Second Squad, Stecker, 72, of Hauppauge, was charged with Forcible Touching. He will be held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on September 15.

Detectives are asking anyone with additional information or if you believe you are a victim to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.

Suffolk County Police arrested a man on Sept. 13 for allegedly impersonating a Department of Social Services (DSS) employee and forcibly touching a resident at a shelter facility in East Farmingdale.

Alfred Balcerak allegedly impersonated a DSS employee to gain entry into a shelter facility, on September
6. Once inside, he made sexual contact with a disabled resident. Balcerak also took personal items belonging to the resident. Following an investigation by the First Squad and Special Victims Section detectives, Balcerak was arrested at his home in Deer Park, at 8:17 p.m.

Balcerak, 65, was charged with Forcible Touching, Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Physically Disabled Person 1st Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Physically Disabled Person 2nd Degree, False Personation, and Petit Larceny.

He will be held overnight at the Third Precinct is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on September 14.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who allegedly forcibly touched a woman in an Islandia store in August.

A man approached a woman who was shopping in Walgreens, located at 1860 Veterans Memorial Highway, on August 30 at 3:40 p.m. When the woman rejected his advances, the man allegedly slapped her on the buttocks and fled the store on foot.

Stony Brook University Police are deploying additional officers around campus this week after a graduate student was forcibly touched over the weekend, authorities said Monday.

The suspect, who police identified as 33-year-old Miguel Angel Condori, was accused of groping a graduate student on Saturday inside the third-floor bathroom of the social and behavioral sciences building on campus, university police said. Officers have been searching campus buildings for the suspect and continue to do so while increasing police presence at strategic locations.

A surveillance image and mugshot of the suspect was posted to the Stony Brook University emergency alerts website, showing the location where the incident allegedly occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The image described the suspect as a light-skinned Hipsanic male standing at about 5 feet, 5 inches with black hair pulled back into a bun, university police said.

Any information on the suspect was to be directed to university police at 631-632-3333.

Police charged a Port Jefferson neurologist with forcible touching on Wednesday, a couple of months after authorities say he had inappropriate contact with a patient.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, Dr. Jacob Mathew inappropriately touched a female patient when she visited his Oakland Avenue office for treatment in February.

The SCPD did not identify the patient and said her name would be kept confidential.

The doctor, 58, was arrested at his office on Wednesday, police said, shortly before 4 p.m.

Attorney information for Mathew was not immediately available. He will be arraigned at a later date.
