Holbrook man critically injured in single-vehicle crash

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that critically injured a man in Yaphank on March 19.

Willliam Green was driving a 2023 Dodge Hornet in a southwest direction on Patchogue Yaphank Road, when the vehicle left the roadway at the intersection of Mill Road, overturned, and then struck a telephone pole, at 10:27 p.m. Green, 55, of Holbrook, was transported to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in Patchogue in critical
condition. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
