Suffolk County Police arrested a 13-year-old male on Sept. 13 for allegedly possessing brass knuckles at a Lake Ronkonkoma school.

The teenager was asked to empty his bag by an employee of the school for an unrelated incident when brass knuckles were discovered at Samoset Middle School, located at 51 School St., at approximately 1 p.m.

The teen was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4 th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and is scheduled to be arraigned in Suffolk County Family Court on a later date.
