Suffolk County Police arrested a man on Aug. 21 who allegedly committed multiple acts of public lewdness in the past three months.

Fourth Precinct Patrol officers responded to Burger King, located at 254 Portion Road, Ronkonkoma after two female employees reported a man allegedly committing a lewd act in plain sight in the parking lot at approximately 11:40 p.m. The man fled the scene shortly after.

After an extensive canvass of the area, officers located and arrested Ronald Richardson III. Following an investigation by Fourth Squad detectives, it was determined that Richardson III had committed two previous acts of public lewdness, as follows:

• Orangetheory Fitness, located at 62 East Main St., Smithtown, on August 1, 2024 at approximately 7:15 a.m. Richardson allegedly committed a lewd act in front of a 29-year-old woman.

• Old Navy, located at 2089 Smith Haven Mall, Lake Grove, on May 18, 2024 at approximately 1:10 p.m. Richardson allegedly exposed himself in front of an 11-year-old girl.

Richardson III, 43, undomiciled, was charged with three counts Public Lewdness 1st Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
