Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police Department police officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who allegedly stole money from two Riverhead businesses in December.

A man allegedly purchased food and performed quick change scams, during which he confused the cashiers into giving incorrect change, and a stole combined total of approximately $125, from Caruso’s Pizza and Tong Fu, both located on Old Country Road, on December 7 at approximately 4 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people who allegedly stole from a St. James store.

Two women asked an employee at King Kullen, located at 472 Lake Ave., to make change for $300 on August 13 at approximately 4:15 p.m. As the employee was making the change, the women asked the employee to change the denominations and during that time, the women took $160 from the money. The women then asked the employee to return the original $300.
