Suffolk County police 2nd Squad detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the rear parking lot of an East Northport convenience store April 15.

A man with a gun allegedly approached a male employee of the One Stop Deli Food Market, located at 246 Pulaski Road, as the employee walked to the rear of the business to dispose of garbage at approximately 8:58 p.m. The man allegedly pointed a gun at the employee and demanded money. The employee complied and gave the man his wallet. The robber took the wallet and fled the scene on foot. No one was injured during this incident.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call the 2nd Squad detectives at 631-854-8252.

Suffolk County police allege a Huntington village lawyer pulled a gun after argument

Suffolk Police have arrested a lawyer from Huntington Station Jan. 15 after he allegedly pointed a handgun at a client after a dispute.

Pierre Bazile, who works for the Law Office of Christopher J. Cassar, located at on East Carver Street in Huntington, engaged in a verbal dispute with a client at approximately 12:15 p.m. Jan. 15, according to police. Bazile then reportedly pointed a 9mm handgun at the 32-year-old male client and ordered him out of his office. The victim, who was not injured, exited the office and waited for police to arrive. Police said a 9mm handgun was recovered at the scene.

Second Squad detectives charged Bazile, 46, of Huntington Station, with second-degree menacing.  He was released after posting bail at the precinct.

A Greenlawn man was talking to a woman in front of his house on Lafayette Street on Tuesday night, when he was shot in the face by an unknown person.

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating the incident which occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on July 19.

According to police, multiple shots were fired. The victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to all the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

A man with a handgun restrained employees and customers at a Huntington Station store before robbing the place, and police said the incident was similar to others that happened across Long Island in the last few months.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, the suspect entered the Pier 1 Imports on East Jericho Turnpike with the weapon at about 7 p.m. last night and forced employees and customers to the rear of the store, which is near New York Avenue. After restraining them, he made an employee open the store’s safe and he removed cash from the registers.

Police said the armed robbery was similar to crimes that have happened in Nassau and Suffolk counties since late August, including four robberies at women’s clothing stores — on Sept. 7 in East Farmingdale, on Oct. 12 in West Babylon, on Oct. 26 in Deer Park and on Nov. 2 in North Lindenhurst.

The male suspect in the Pier 1 armed robbery was described as black, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, and of a thin to medium build, police said. He was wearing a mask and a hoodie at the time of the crime.

Detectives from the SCPD’s Pattern Crime Unit are investigating the incident and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
