Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who allegedly stole merchandise from a South Setauket store.

A man allegedly stole video game products from Target, located at 265 Pond Path, on September 12 at 6:50 p.m. The merchandise was valued at approximately $500.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.

A woman allegedly stole a MacBook Pro from Best Buy, located at 261 Pond Path, on August 31 at approximately 11:30 a.m. She fled in a black Mercedes sedan.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section who allegedly stole from a Selden store last month.

A man allegedly stole two compressors from Home Depot, located at 401 Independence Plaza, on October 28 at approximately 2 p.m. The compressors were valued at approximately $500. The man fled in a black Dodge pickup truck.

Suffolk County Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Central Islip on Nov. 5.

Steven Rodrigues was operating a 2015 Honda motorcycle westbound on Suffolk Avenue when the vehicle collided with a 2019 Honda CRV that was turning from Suffolk Avenue to northbound Sycamore Lane at 5:11 p.m. The motorcycle then collided with a 2020 Lexus that was stopped in the southbound lane of Sycamore Lane.

Rodrigues, 38, of Medford, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious physical injuries. Neither the driver of the Honda CRV, Maria Mencia, 65, of Central Islip, or the driver of the Lexus, Justin Stewart, 23, of Central Islip, were injured.

All three vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to contact Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352.

Riverhead Town Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a man missing from Riverhead. Glen Gregor, 59, was last seen leaving 629 West Main Street on Oct. 31 at 11:30 a.m. He is described as a white male with long gray hair and a beard; 6-feet, 2-inches tall and 290 lbs., and is possibly wearing jeans and a T-shirt, police said.

Anyone with information about Gregor’s location is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at 631-727-4500. All calls will be kept confidential.

Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman for driving with more than 30 license suspensions in Yaphank.

Lisa Larkin was driving a 2003 Acura westbound on the Long Island Expressway, west of exit 67, when officers initiated a traffic stop for following a vehicle too closely. An investigation revealed Larkin has 33 license suspensions on five separate occasions for failure to answer summonses.

Her vehicle was impounded and she was issued summonses for unregistered and an uninsured vehicle.

Larkin, 58, of Sound Beach, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree under Angelica’s Law. She was released on a Desk Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

On November 3, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office arrested Patrick Coleman, 32 of Selden, for allegedly driving while intoxicated after fleeing a traffic stop and crashing into a Farmingville home.  

At 1:40 a.m., Deputy Sheriffs observed a Lincoln SUV failing to maintain the lane and driving 75 mph in a 35 mph zone on Ocean Avenue in Farmingville.  Upon interviewing the driver, Patrick Coleman, the Deputy Sheriff observed that his speech was slurred, movements were slow and unsteady and he had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.  When Coleman was asked to step out of the vehicle for additional sobriety testing, he fled from the scene. Coleman soon lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a house located on Oakcrest Avenue in Farmingville.  The house sustained extensive damage. Neither the driver nor anyone in the home was injured.

Coleman was charged with; Felony DWI with 1 prior offense, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle, 2nd Degree, Unlawful Fleeing, 3rd Degree, and Reckless Driving among other traffic violations.

Update: Amaia Rivera, who was critically injured during a motor vehicle on westbound Sunrise Highway
in Bohemia on November 2, has died.

Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that critically
injured at 6-year-old girl in Bohemia on Nov. 2.

Calix Armando Rivera Aguilar was driving a 2012 Infiniti G37 westbound on Sunrise Highway at Exit 48 with his 6-year-old daughter, Amaia Rivera, in the backseat, when he lost control of the vehicle, hit the center median, crossed all westbound lanes, left the roadway, and struck a tree at approximately 3:35 p.m.

Amaia Rivera was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was transported to Good Samaritan
University Hospital in West Islip in critical condition. Rivera Aguilar, 51, of Brentwood was not injured.

The Infiniti was impounded for a safety check.

Traffic was backed up for several hours as the police investigated and cleared the accident with drivers taking detours into nearby neighborhoods causing gridlock and congestion.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8542.

Suffolk County Police arrested two men on Nov. 1 for stealing a woman’s vehicle at gunpoint in Ridge on Oct. 31. Three men, armed with guns, approached a woman on Oakridge Circle at 10:40 p.m., grabbed her key fob out of her hand and stole her BMW.

Following an investigation, the BMW was located on Wicks Avenue in North Babylon at 11:53 p.m. A gun was recovered inside the vehicle. One of the suspects was observed nearby and following a foot pursuit, Dayne Thomas-Orr, who was in possession of a gun, was arrested on Garnet Street in North Babylon at 12:05 a.m. A short time later, another suspect, Ameer Johnson, was arrested on Polaris Street in North Babylon at 1:17 a.m. The search for additional suspects is continuing.

Thomas-Orr, 18, of Centereach, was charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Robbery 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. Johnson, 18, of Coram, was charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Robbery 2nd Degree.

Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Ronkonkoma on Oct. 31.

Jedarnie Brown was driving a 2018 Honda Civic southbound on Ocean Avenue when the vehicle struck a pedestrian that was crossing the road westbound at 6:13 p.m.

The pedestrian, Kayla Gaith, 15, of Ronkonkoma, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Brown, 30, of Ronkonkoma, was also transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for evaluation.

The Honda was impounded for a safety check.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
