Suffolk County Police arrested the former employee of a Dix Hills residential facility on Jan. 20 for allegedly having sex with a teenage resident.

Hayden Daley, who was an employee of WellLife Network, located at 43 Arista Drive, allegedly began a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old resident at the facility on July 3. Daley, who is no longer employed at the facility, continued the sexual relationship with the teen.

Second Squad Detectives arrested Daley, 27, of Deer Park, and charged him with two counts of Rape 2nd Degree, two counts of Criminal Sex Act 2nd Degree, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this case or believes they may be a victim of Daley to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.

A man allegedly stole approximately $435 worth of vitamins from GNC, located at 14 Veterans Memorial Highway, on January 13 at approximately 4:40 p.m.

Suffolk County Police arrested a woman for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Jan. 18 after she allegedly drove the wrong way and struck multiple vehicles in Shirley.

Dema Falah was driving a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound on Havenwood Drive East and then turned right on the southbound side of William Floyd Parkway traveling the wrong way. The Jeep then struck a 2013 Toyota traveling southbound on the William Floyd Parkway that was attempting to make a left turn onto Havenwood Drive East heading eastbound.

Falah then traveled northbound on William Floyd Parkway and struck four vehicles also traveling northbound before crashing the Jeep into the median at 5:47 p.m. Falah fled the scene on foot southbound before being detained by police at 5:52 p.m.

No one required medical attention. The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee was impounded for a safety check.

Falah, 50, of Shirley, was charged with alleged Driving While Intoxicated and Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident with Property Damage. She is being held at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 19.

A man allegedly assaulted a woman in the woods behind Walmart, located at 1850 Veterans Highway, on December 20 at approximately 8 p.m.

Suffolk County Police today arrested three people on Jan. 17 for allegedly selling vape products to minors at Huntington Town businesses.

In response to community complaints, Second Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of vape products to minors during which 11 businesses were checked for compliance with the law and violations were found at three.

The following people were charged with alleged Unlawfully Dealing with a Child:

  • Ryan Lembeck, 29, of Huntington, an employee of Huntington Village Vapes, located at 4 Elm Street, Huntington.
  • Zakir Raees, 30, of New Hyde Park, an employee of Rollie’s Smoke Shop IV, located at 278 East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station.
  • Syed Syedwahab, 27, of Hicksville, an employee of Nirvana Vape Shop, located at 1153A East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington

    All three men were released on Field Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

Suffolk County Police arrested a 13-year-old East Northport Middle School student on Jan. 17 after she
allegedly posted a threat on social media. Second Squad detectives arrested the girl and determined there was no credible threat. The teen was charged with Threat of Mass Harm, a Class B Misdemeanor, and will be arraigned in Suffolk County Family Court at a later date.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole from a store in Medford this month.

A man stole a chainsaw valued at $208 from Lowe’s Home Improvement, located at 2796 Route 112, on January 5 at 3:37 p.m. The suspect fled in a tan Hyundai Elantra.
