Photo by Bill Landon By Bill Landon The Warriors had a one goal advantage over Islip at home April 26, leading 2-1 before a thunderstorm rolled in, suspending play in the opening quarter. The outcome of the game would have to wait until April 29, when play resumed. However, the break worked against Comsewogue when Islip peppered the cage with four unanswered goals to take a 6-3 win. Comsewogue senior attack T.J. Heyder scored with two assists while sophomore attack Jake Deacy split the pipes twice. Senior goalie Thomas Heller had eight saves in net. The Warriors are currently sitting at 7-4 in league after beating Sayville 9-2 April 30. Comsewogue is back in action May 2 when they will be hosting Harbor Hills West with a 7 p.m. start.
