Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed two adults and a child in Holbrook on April 12.

Emanuel Dandrea was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox westbound on Veterans Memorial Highway when he attempted to make a left-hand turn toward southbound Coates Avenue and collided with a 2002 Honda motorcycle that was traveling eastbound on Veterans Memorial Highway at approximately 1:20 p.m.

Both Dandrea, 74, of Shoreham, and the driver of the motorcycle, Alaaeldien Elfaham, 23, of Deer Park, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the Equinox, Alanna Lika, 11, of Holbrook, was transported in an ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious physical injuries. She later died at the hospital. An 8-year-old female in the vehicle was also taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Veterans Memorial Highway was closed both ways for about three hours.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call Fifth Squad detectives at 631-854- 8552.

Three men allegedly stole seven sets of LEGOs from Target, located at 98 Veterans Memorial Highway, on March 30 at approximately 9:45 p.m. The stolen merchandise has a value of approximately $600.

A person broke glass and entered T-Mobile, located at 163 Ronkonkoma Ave., on March 5 at approximately 10:25 p.m. The suspect stole three cell phones.

A man allegedly stole two KitchenAid stand mixers from Target, located at 98 Veterans Memorial Highway, on March 22 at approximately noon. The items were valued at approximately $870.

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate a missing Medford
teen.

Skingdy Jean Simon was last seen leaving his residence, located on Eagle Ave., on Monday morning, April 10. He was reported missing by a family member at 2 p.m. that same day.

Jean Simon, 15, is Black, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 175 pounds. He has black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweater with sneakers.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Jean Simon’s location to contact the Sixth Squad at
631-854-8652 or call 911.

Suffolk County Police arrested four employees after they allegedly sold alcohol and liquid e-nicotine to minors at businesses in the Sixth Precinct on  April 10.

In response to community complaints, Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol and liquid nicotine to minors at 10 businesses, four of which had violations.

Bharat Patel, 53, of East Patchogue, an employee of Club House Café, located at 1937 Middle Country Road, Centereach, was charged with alleged Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 1st Degree for selling alcohol to a person under the age of 21.

The following people were charged with alleged Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 2nd Degree for selling vape products to a person under the age of 21:

  •   Enis Secgin, 24, of Amityville, an employee of Cards & Smoke Vape Shop, located at 1100-4 Portion Road, Farmingville.
  •   Delroy Anderson, 25, of Port Jefferson Station, an employee of Happy Daze, located at 829 Portion Road, Ronkonkoma.
  •   Ali Sezgin Sire, 57, of Medford, an employee of Shell gas station, located at 1992 Middle Country Road, Centereach.All four were issued Field Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on April 28.A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Just released! Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a woman who allegedly used stolen credit cards at a Stony Brook store in January.

A woman reported her credit card was stolen on January 26 while at a Stony Brook Road medical practice. The card was used a short time later to purchase gift cards from Duane Reade on Stony Brook Road in Stony Brook.

Three unknown people allegedly stole wooden pallets from the parking lot of Innovative Video Technology, located at 355 Oser Ave., at 11:30 p.m. on February 17.
